At HeadOffice, I gained my first experience in magazine design. I had the opportunity to contribute to the rebranding of Solidaris’ magazine, which was in the midst of a transition at the time. The goal was to give the magazine a fresh visual identity and make it more accessible to a wider audience, without losing its recognisability.
I helped create several layout designs and contributed ideas around the use of white space, typography, and color. By incorporating more breathing room and a contemporary color palette, the magazine now has a calmer yet more playful and engaging look.
This project taught me how to create visual balance in print design and showed me the importance of tailoring design choices to both the audience and the content. The updated magazine has since been published and stands as a tangible result of a valuable learning experience.
